Some bad/good news depending on whether or not you like the anime.

My source isn't directly connected to TPC in Japan and I can't 100% vow for what they told me, but they are affiliated with TPCi in Bellevue and as far as I'm concerned, they are trustworthy and serious with their job. I thought this was worth sharing.

Starting sometime in 2016, the regular Pokemon anime series is being replaced by a completely new one. It will come along with the new games and feature completely new characters. The animation studio will also change, including most writers, designers and animators. I don't know specifics, but my source knows what they know due to being involved in 2016's movie in some capacity.

Unfortunately, I can't really post any more details (and I don't even know much), since I can't risk outing my source. Take it as you will.
