I could argue that Mewtwo is OU viable if it's set is only limited to Confusion, Psycho Cut, and Grass Knot.
A standard has to be set somewhere. Some small scale cases will suffer from it (like the entire banning of Greninja or Blaziken), but overall it keeps the operations smooth.
