Diamond and Pearl remakes. You get your Sinnoh starter in the beginning and after beating Roark, Rowan's all like 'shit man I forgot about these fuckers cause their shit have one if you want'. Then later on after the fifth gym or some shit Rowan gives you the mega stones for both of your starters. My dad is Junichi Samsung this is real.

Solar power isn't that good and is difficult to support.

Drought would not be given to Typhlosion due as it would give Charizard competition and GF loves Charizard and knows other suck it's dick too much to do that.

To make a long story short, it just doesn't work. This isn't even a Mega thing: no Pokemon forme change has ever altered base HP. You either have different forms that cannot be interchanged (Pumpkaboo/Gourgiest/AZ's Floette) or vanilla evolution.
