Which is better, fighting Team Aqua or fighting Team Magma? I guess that's really the most important thing to consider when choosing which game to get, other than which legendary you want.

Fighting is really not a problem. Personally I find Rough Skin to be a pain but there's so many Grass SpAttackers to choose from to defeat Sharpedo it doesn't really matter.

Just pick whichever admin or leader you get your jollies off on, OP.

Team Aqua is the one who has their proper hideout, and Kyogre is the legendary who is supposed to be under the god damn sea.

Thematically, OR Team Magma just doesn't make any sense after Emerald had them setting up camp inside Mt Chimney while drilling to Groudon. You also shouldn't be fighting the team that wants to add more land to Hoenn.

In my opinion, it's better to fight Team Aqua, just like >>22517222 said. I like the feeling of imminent apocalypse when you see the dark sky filled with ominous thunderclouds, heavy rain and thunder. When you defeat or capture Kyogre, everything is brighter, it looks awesome. Plus, riding Kyogre to the dark depths felt really cool, and I like its Prima form better than Groudon's.

Maybe if you're dumber than a toad.
As a Team of modern day pirates with strong water pokemon at that most of Aqua's actions don't make a lick of sense.
As for Groudon being under the sea, well you just have to have basic knowledge of the rain cycle and know that there wasn't as much water as there is now in prehistoric times.

Anyway just flip a coin OP it makes no difference the Primals aren't even version exclusive.

This. OP if you're talking entertainment wise, Kyogre/Team Aqua is the better choice. I played Emerald as a kid and I shit my pants when the deluge came, so I always knew I had to pick the game with the rain and I wasn't disappointed. That and Archie and his pirates are total bros.

Also using the aqua suit in space makes so sense. It wasn't designed for undersea use not to survive vacuums and the heat of re-entry.
