>>22517702If Nintendo want the game released for the summer holidays world-wide, which would actually make sense seeing as it is a game you can take places with you and play with your chums and make new chums with, now would be a good time to start hyping the next pokemon game. This also would explaine why the deadline was so tight for ORAS and why it had a third team of programmers working on it instead of the usual remakes and second game team.
Or it could just be that they're launching the next gen this autumn and they have lots of fuel for the hype train, like with xy.
Or because it is a Nintendo direct not a pokemon direct it might just mention something spin-offy like Battle Frontier for the WiiU.
