Stealing shit (the Magician ability) is a lot more suited to Greninja, who represents the Rogue/Thief class.
Protean, as its currently named, is a bit of stretch for Delphox but altering ones body is something that some RPG casters can do to enhance their abilities (Elemental savant, Acolyte of Skin are ones I know of at least.)
