Among them are Garchomp, Keldeo, Swampert, Quagsire, and Whiscash, all of which can OHKO Magcargo. Additionally, its specialty is Special attacks, but it has no Rock-type special STAB besides Hidden Power Rock, which is laughably bad.
>Shit defensive typingMagcargo has many resistances, yes, but it has weaknesses to some of the worst possible types. A 2x weakness to Rock and Fighting is bad enough, but a 4x Ground AND Water weakness is the last nail in the coffin for this poor snail.
>Mediocre abilitiesFlame Body is only "okay" on a Pokemon that could burn more reliably with WoW or Lava Plume anyway. Weak Armor is terrible, because Magcargo's stats are too shit to be able to use it (we'll get to that soon). Magma Armor is competitively useless.

Its Special Attack is barely passable. Its speed is "Trick Room sweeper" tier. Its Attack is OVER TWENTY POINTS lower than UNOWN'S. If it got a Mega, it'd still have a lower BST than Exeggutor and Tentacruel.
It's shit. It could have been so much better, but it's shit. So, OP, is it worth using one? No, never.
