I've very recently picked up Pokemon Diamond for free, however I've heard that Pokemon Platinum is better and has more features. Should I buy platinum given how many features were cut out of Diamond?

I want to enjoy gen 4 as much as possible.
So I ask you /vp/, Should I go and get Platinum even though I already have diamond?
