Old Hoenn had the best breeding route, from Fallarbor Town to Slateport (if you felt like going through desert)
Battle Resort breeding is shit and I regret putting all my stuff from Y into AS.

Battle resort has literally got a daycare in such a position that you can hold one direction and loop the island

Stand in front of the daycare lad, go right until it stops you, then hold up
you will change direction automatically when you hit the next corner

You know, if you don't like the loop you can just do the same left-right-left-right trick you used in RSE, just in the battle resort instead.

And you also have the IV checker there so you don't need to fly.

It could have definitely been better. I don't have much issue with having to reposition yourself after an egg hatches, but the sand pits only serve to waste precious capture power 3 time.

The sand pits are there to incentivise actually playing over using something to autorun though
it's basically "you can have easymode and be a little less effective, or do it yourself and benefit"
it's actually fairly decent game design

are you actually retarded or have you just not played ORAS yet?

if you really want, you can just go back and forth in a straight line in the battle resort just like the Kalos route. the angle doesn't change at corners that way unless you intentionally press up for a few steps

Hop off your bike, grab your egg, walk down 3 steps with the D-Pad, hop back on your bike, use the D-Pad left and right. You won't run into anything and you won't have to complain like a fucking idiot when what you're complaining about has nearly the easiest fix in the entire franchise.

Not if you're just pressing left and right, the camera only changes if you press up at the corners.

You just want an arbitrary reason to hate a perfectly fine game like every other bandwagoner on /vp/.
Hell, you could at least complain about the "lack of content" so you blend in with the others.

He never said that the one in ORAS was bad. He said that the one in Kalos is better, which is true. It's the only place in the series that you can ride your bike, go in an infinite loop by holding a single direction, and never have the loop broken.

You have to go out of your way to get there though and even then you still have to pay attention to the game when the egg hatches.
In all honesty it wastes more time than saves when it comes to breeding.
Although if you've just left mon in the daycare to get to level 100 then it's fine even though you could do the exact same in ORAS.

All in all, there's nothing better about the Kalos one.

Dime user here. I've had my 3DS since the release of Ocarina 3D, I have I have almost 400 hours on XY and over 100 on ORAS, the majority of that breeding, and mine is totally fine

This is my favorite part of the Battle Resort loop.
I despise the casuals that do shit like hatch eggs around the Eiffel tower with a fucking coin in the circle pad.
