All Pokemon games are the same. They can be as long or as short as you make them.

You can take your time and play for hours and hours and take weeks to actually progress to the end of the main storyline, or you can blast through it in a day or so.

Afterwards you can either continue with little bits and pieces of end game play (finding items, Pokemon etc) or doing other things (like contests) or breed and shit.

Or, you can just put the game down and move onto a new one.

Speaking of rom hacks, now that gateway users are far more common how long till a proper XV/ORAS rom hack is made? I'd like a travel thought the region that doesn't treat me like a drunk baby.

A long time, they still aren't able to hack it if I remember correctly.
Plus it's a pokemon game, regardless of what hack you play you're still treated like a drunk baby.

And you're going to be flying around to various EV training spots after you get your mon so the Chateau being on the same route doesn't really matter.

Frontier wasn't in the original anyway it was in emerald. Copy/paste Maison isn't a good replacement for the battle tower.

You say that but the Maison is more player friendly, allowing you to actually leave the area and put your streak on hold.
Also if I remember right it yields slightly more BP in the long run.

It's still a gen 3 area, rayquaza was heavily featured and he's the 3rd legendary.

It's just an unnecessary amount of work in all honesty and with a year dev time I would say they needed to focus on the other buildings, the new trainers, non-hoenn native mon placement and so on more than a visual change for one area.

Either samefag, you haven't played the game or you've purposely ignored features of the game either way he isn't, simply by the fact that they actually bothered to fix parts of RSE and add new trainers and characters into the mix and then there's features like the dex nav and so on.

i entertained myself with pwt/battle tower in b2 for weeks

i still play emerald for the battle frontier to this very day

but i dropped oras as soon as I beat the game because battle maison is shit

That's not a Tower format that's White Treehollow and Black tower which is more along the lines of Trainer tower but with Exp and money.
It was pretty entertaining for me at first but then I realised it was just regular battles in a maze with pretty much no drawbacks if you lost.
