Beginner here. Just started playing Platinum, chose this fella and when I defeated my rival's Chimchar, my Turtwig leveled up and gained +2 HP, +1 Atk, +1 Def, +1 Sp. Atk, +1 Sp Def and +0 Spd. I accidentally erased my save file and after starting it all over again witht the same starter, when I defeated my rival and when my Turtwig leveled up his growth was +3 HP, +2 Atk, +2 Def, +2 Sp. Atk, +2 Sp. Def and +0 Spd. Does this mean that this Turtwig has better IVs?
