>>22543442Mt. Coronet was amazing though, it was so satisfying to get through.
>KantoThat tree by Pewter City that requires Cut, after coming through from Diglett Cave. FUCK THAT.
>JohtoI dunno', I actually don't think anywhere in Johto was truly bad. I guess adaptive level scaling would have been nice. Level Scaling was a problem because GF sacrificed it to make the second half of Johto non-linear, after Morty. To do this, the 5th, 6th and 7th Gyms had to all be vaguely the same level and difficulty. The player gets to do things in whichever order they choose, but at the cost of being underleveled for Clair/E4. The counter to this was to not catch Pokémon late-game, and/or to battle every Phone Call challenge. But if the games were to be remade today, I'd like it so that trainers/Gym Leaders/wild Pokémon will get stronger with each badge you get, so if you choose to play non-linearly, the difficulty will be consistent regardless.
>HoennSootopolis was underwhelming, Dewford is a joke, Slateport is a shitty over sized Ollivine. Worst routes are the six fucking back to back water routes, but in particular, the three routes with the rapid currents past Pacifilodge. Fuck any and all of you who defend this.
>SinnohSimilar to Johto, I don't really have a problem with the Region itself. If I had to press myself for an answer like I did with Johto, I'll say that I don't think Darkrai should be an Event Pokémon, and like Deoxys, I hope its made catchable In-Game one day, so it can truly be Cresselia's counterpart.
