>>22545089I'd say Rayquaza beats out Gen 1 Mewtwo due to power creep. Gen 1 was a bulkier time, you could send out shit like Chansey to whittle Mewtwo down and cause it problems. It had actual things that could deal with it since anything with a good special attack would also have good special defense. Stuff like Jolteon could actually threaten it with a speed tied pin missile.
Rayquaza on the other hand has like, one obscure check in Cloud 9 Golduck with a choice scarf. Which loses to Dragon Dance Rayquaza.
Rayquaza breeds 6-0s The thing is unstoppable.
Not even the two best walls in the entire game can handle it after a swords dance or two dragon dances (which it has no problem even setting up thanks to 105/100/100 defenses and only three weaknesses, one being dragon who is in danger on switching in anyway)
