A useful ability that either boosts one of your stats or moves or your defences.
Having an acceptable or high bulk in either Sp.Def or Def naturally or brought through abilities.
A Pokemon that in past was usually forced to run Expert Belt or Life Orb in the past generations or a redundant Leftovers.
A Pokemon that can easily revenge kill or force a switch as well as having strong coverage moves and STAB, if those apply status conditions (flinch included) they are even more welcome.
