pretty much every piece of official art to exist depicts Cinnabar as having a Volcano. RBY, GSC, FrLg, Pokemon Pinball - you name it

if Kanto saw a 3D remake in the X/Y engine (not that it should), Cinnabar would be reimagined as a volcano proper. They fucked up with the RBY/FrLg Cinnabar map
