>>22556517Pendulum is actually kinda straightforward. Some of the new monsters come with 'scales' featuring numbers from 1 through 9, which you can set either side of the field as magic cards. Then each turn you can summon multiple standard monsters (No special summon monsters) from your hand or extra deck that have levels between the numbers of those two monsters. So if you had two up with scales 2 and 8, then you can summon multiple monsters between level 3 and 7. Also when a Pendulum monster is destroyed, it goes to the extra deck instead of the graveyard, so you resummon them every turn.
It's broken as fuck, but the game is still evolving around it. By the looks of it it's intended to make the other summon methods easier since you can bring out the necessary materials a lot quicker.
Also there is news of something called 'Negative scales' that will be introduced soon, but nobody knows what it is yet. It's probably an 'upgrade' system similar to Accel Synchro and Chaos XYZ.
