No, because at least they try. They made a new mechanic (that maybe wasn't wanted by the majority and essentially ruined the metagame) they made new content, and even pretty much streamlined some autism stuff in the games like breeding and EV training for X/Y and whatnot.
Yes, as in they have yearly releases, so most to everything is rushed and doesn't have as much effort put into it as I should've. They don't listen to their fans. They pander to a demographic they think is a majority, but in reality, isn't. They constantly remove features from past games that were well-recieved for no justifiable reason. And they don't care about the spin-offs that would make them a lot more money if they put effort into them.
All in all, fuck Gamefreak. However you people deal with their inane bullshit so much is beyond me.
