I liked the Game Corner as much as everyone else but looking back it took way too long to rack up the coins and buying them was boring as shit too.

Hoenn's one was fine.
The coin prizes were high and the TMs were cheap.

Also there were just like 4 TMs so you wouldn't have to spend much time on it.
DP's game corner was awfully grindy instead.
