>>22570168Riolu and Vulpix team. It was a bit of a pain to deal with my weak stats at the start, but overall I was able to learn enough about the game's systems to get through without too much trouble.
Their IQ actually syncs up really well for a Riolu player/Vulpix partner dynamic. Riolu and Lucario get a lot of battling abilities like piercing thrown items, charged moves taking up 2 PP in exchange for no charge time, so on and so forth, while Vulpix//Ninetales gets a lot more support or passive abilities that the game's AI can't really mess up. Map viewing, stair sensing, trap-not-set-offing, and so on.
I still go back to the game and play every so often, since it's a nice little way to spend a short break. I've done nearly everything in there, save finding the last of the legendaries and doing the Zero Isles/Destiny Tower, so I've all but completed the game.
Maybe I should replay it, actually. It'd be fun to reacquaint myself with the story and characters proper, since it's been years since I finished the game.
