I miss when GF put effort into the characters. Not just their animations, but the dialogue, difficulty, their out-of-gym quests and stuff
Gen 6 was literally 3 steps back in that regard. The characters felt as lifeless as they did in Gen 3, which is ironic because of the remakes, which I was hoping would improve the characters. I guess the Admins and Villains were more interesting but the Gyms were still lifeless as ever.

I just hope that next Gen they'll opt for dynamic poses. Like how Gen 1-2 (and some 3-4) Pokémon all had action poses? Put Raikou leaning forward with a paw forward, like a Tiger about to pounce and sprint after its prey. The current model is it just standing there looking confused.
