How does /vp/ think Yokai Watch will fare in the west? Will it last as long as Digimon did or will it be another mEdabot - 2 games and never again?

As far as I know Level 5 will release the first YW in the west this year. In Japan it's becoming more popular than Pokémon (wich is the game that those older guys play), but well, it IS much more Japanese-y and the franchise is heavily promoted there, like the Pokémon golden years.

Didn't even know YW was from Level 5. to be honest, their games are ok, but they get boring super fast. They feel like they're only a small mini game or sequence from a greater game rather than a game on their own.
