I doubt it. The designs for the teams are meant to be instantly recognizable and memorable, not to blend into the crowd. It's a fantasy game first and foremost, with little concern for realism. Starting to think in realistic terms when it comes to designs might work for a more serious title, but when it comes to Pokémon it often means you're overthinking things.
