Also, if GF was cool and gave it like Drain Punch it could make a decent vester. It's one of those hardhitting high HP but shit defense mons though.

Be creative and go mixed with Scald if you want, since Scald's a pretty OP move.
Banded Reckless could also be a thing if you want to just destroy everything.

Other then that, Trick Room.

Nah, with 65 defenses it's not gonna take multiple hits, even with a large HP stat. Jolly would be preferable, but the only difference is that Adamant stops outspeeding max speed base 108's even at +1 speed (from Flame Charge or Choice Scarf)

Max Speed and Jolly literally beats Mega Pidgeot by a point in speed at +1. You have adamant though, so I say go 252 Attack, 248 HP, and the last 8 in either defense. If you can grab a Jolly one, go Scarf and sweep all of RU not named Mega Scep or Baby T-flame.

Used to run a Flame Charge set back when all HAs were available in DWOU. Pretty amazing since a Reckless Head Smash has the same bp as a STAB 120 Rock move that fucking kills you too.

Although it just barely outpaces base 121s after a Flame Charge, so the set is pretty much useless in the higher tiers, not to mention Smaugberd spam which is suffering.

But now that Reckless is finally released as well as gaining Sucker Punch in XY, I can see the full potential of an Air Balloon Bulk Up set which has been working fantastically. With the possibility to tank A Landorus-T's EQ or A Bravest Bird & kamikaze the fuck out of them.

Mega with Rock Head when?

This OP, surprisingly a fire move isn't really necessary on Emboar, however Flame Charge really helps. A Head Smash/Drain Punch set with Shell Bell is kinda stupid but it could work.

Also, do you have other Tepigs, OP? It's been a while since i placed this goddamn Snivy on the GTS and no Tepig yet. The message is "RECKLESS pls" and the Snivy is japanese, if you want.

Its honestly your call on what you need more, if you have faster things or some sort of support like sticky web then go for the pure nuking. If you need some speed then scarf makes for a solid revenge killer with not a lot appreciating the hits. Personally for the banded set myself..
