Those games were seriously awesome, and challenging too. Some of the "Pokemon" designs were pretty neat too.

Yeah, I know that's what they are. They were released in the west as Pokemon games by some evil syndicate though.

Is there a less-buggy English translation of the Telefang games? I'm honestly interested in them but I don't trust some shitty bootleg translation disguised as a Pokemon game to give the 'full experience.'

Or were the originals that buggy, too?

How much money do you think the people who came up with these games made? I'm not talking about the creators of Telefang, I'm talking about the people who bootlegged them and sold them as Pokemon games outside of Jaoan. Although rare, these games are everywhere worldwide.

Just play the "Pokemon Jade" and "Pokemon Diamond" games on GBC. (Use save-states, as the actual saving is buggy)

Story is somewhat understandable, and some of the engrish translations are funny as hell.

Man, I remember getting the diamond version for my GBC. Fun game, though I'd hardly call it challenging. You can buy items for dirt cheap that literally level up your starter to be a beast.

Evolving Crypto or any Denjuu with items is called a fusion evolution - fast, but weak as fuck. You have a better time by doing a natural evolution (aka by level).

Ohhhhh. I get ya. Since the translation was so bad, I didn't realise there was a different evolutions. I'm pretty sure I beat the whole game with the evolution of Kuribu, the evolution of Osie, and this cool ass mofo. Everything went fine if I recall correctly.
