It's a really neat game, though, and judging by the quality of the box I'd say it's the real rom and not whatever beta shit a lot of people who sell these pull. A lot of times they'll sell early editions of these games that don't work at all or aren't hacked beyond the beginning. Look out for:
Pokemon Perla with a picture of lucario
Chaos Black with a grey cartridge
I'd suggest running through games you get as fast as possible if there's even a slight possibility that it's an early version of the rom.
