What pokemon has the best coverage, and why is it electivire?
>electric + ice + ground + fighting = super effective against 609 pokemon and normal against 168, with shedninja being immune

That's the best possible Nidoking set, though. It outdamages physical Nidoking thanks to Sheer Force, even with the attack boost Nidoking got this Gen.

No stab means you need to do 2 hits most of the times which might result in your pokemon getting raped

Earth Power outdamages Earthquake against something with equal defense and special defense. Plus, Earth Power has the added bonus of not taking Life Orb recoil.

Actually, they literally do the exact same amount of damage. No joke.

However, Earth Power has no Life Orb recoil, so it's superior.

In other words, there is literally no reason to use physical Nidoking over special Nidoking.

Would have been interesting in Gen 4 or 5 since it would have been only weak to Psychic and Ground.
I have no idea though why it loses 10 Speed upon evolving that's just stupid.
