I should hope that we don't get one until 2016/2017 and Gamefreak focuses on making the deluxe version truly great. Having a new game every year is ridiculous. It doesn't give us any time to get used to the generation.

I hear next year is the 20th anniversary for Pokemon. Makes me wonder what they'll do... I'd rather they not remake FR/LG since those already remakes.

But, what they could do is either make a visit/trip to Kanto in the next game somehow as a postgame place, or they could rerelease FRLG themselves on the eShop and find a way to somehow transfer them up to 6th Gen straight from there.

The people that weren't blinded by notsalgia or hurrdurr one-time spaec battle :DDD repeatedly told /vp/ that ORAS has the same postgame facility XY has.
XY gets a pass because all first versions are awful, it's the third game that will determine if it's any good.

The next one will be announced at E3 or another big event this year, expect it around the holidays. Most likely Z but they've been throwing curve balls lately so who knows? Pokemon and Zelda are now yearly franchises for better or worse we have to accept this
