Yes, Meganium gets shafted, but Feraligatr couldn't even make use of its best stat for two generations and was totally outclassed by the shiny Gyarados that GSC gift-wrapped for you. I'm half-expecting them to change the Totodile line's Hidden Ability to Competitive or Own Tempo.
