I haven't seen one of these yet so I want to hear your thoughts did you like these games did you detest them? favourite one?
Also I heard rumours of a new one but after the flop of gates to infinity I'm worried it'll be more of the same
My personal favourite was blue rescue team

Game sold more than a million copies if I remember correctly, and given it looked like it was on a small budget, they probably got a fairly good profit from it. I'd be very surprised if there's not a 6th gen PMD.

The last time I played a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game is Red Rescue mission, though learned to late that I got a bootleg cartilage of it, so when like a year later and I wanted to play again, my save data was wiped. Had a Pikachu-Chickorita team, mostly because I want a Pikachu to be the main character.

I would love a 6th-gen MD game with the Kalos Pokemon you can 'choose'.

Gates to infinity isn't even that terrible imo, it still had goat plot and soundtrack. A step down definitively with available pokemon but most other complaints like slow text speed and no multiple missions allowed weren't game breaking but simply minor annoyances that are easily remedied

I really enjoyed them, except for the one on 3DS. With all the previous games, it felt like after a certain point you were given a reasonable amount of freedom to do as you pleased. With Gates, it felt like that point would never come. It was just one awful, long, drawn-out story moment after another (not helped by the ultra-slow text speed), and I simply wasn't allowed to get the satisfaction of looking at a board, seeing like 10 quests, and saying "Let's see if I can knock all these bitches out in one swoop!"

And the dungeons themselves were fuckin' boring. I get that they're randomly generated and pretty similar to previous ones, but I don't know if the AI is just retarded or what. It just felt extremely unrewarding to go through them.

Entirely different stories, different Pokemon. Sky was Gen 4 and has all 493, Blue was Gen 3 and has most of the 386. They're both worth playing, but if you can only play one play Sky. Time/Darkness are completely irrelevant.
