How can we fix GENII starters without a mega, VP?
Keep the BST the same, but new stats spread, movepool and ability (and type) are welcome

Seriously though, I think some retyping (and adding new moves to fit said types) would be the best way to go. Meganium should absolutely be Grass/Fairy, Typhlosion as Fire/Dark, and Feraligatr Water/Fighting.

GF pulled this bullshit because they hate Feraligatr. Dark would've been the best choice for a secondary type for Mega-Gatr but they gave it to this fagfish, which is the ONLY mega to CHANGE one of it's typings upon mega-evolving, just to screw Mega-Gatr. Fuck GF and fuck Fagfish. They need to make Mega-Gatr Water/Dragon with Tough Claws so it won't continue to be a 'poor man's Fagfish'. Instead they'll never even release Gatr's hidden ability and if it gets a mega it'll be part dark with a decrease to attack and increase to Sp.Attack because the god damn nips can't stop sucking Gyarados cock.

Altaria didn't even have a mega when Gyarados got one and Charizard has two megas. It would've been stupid for them both to be the same typing.

Mega-Gyarados is Water/DARK
It doesn't gain or lose a type, it's secondary type CHANGES.

How does anything I said make me sound retarded? GF made Feraligatr fit the same role as Gyarados, but Gyara does it better. Now they gave Gyara a mega before even releasing Johto starters hidden abilities and made the mega part Dark which would've been a great secondary type for Mega-Feraligatr while Gyara could've kept the Flying type or become part Dragon which also would've made more sense than Dark since it's based on a Chinese Dragon. If you can't understand the logic behind that, you may want to take an IQ test.
