>>22623422>implying I'm lyingAre you autistic or just a faggot? I've used Powersaves before and had it corrupted (because Powersaves is a shitty piece of hardware with poor QC), but I've had backups to fix it, and I have automatic backups on (which any sane person will leave on, since it's the default setting), so if Powersaves caused it, I'd have a backup from before the corruption. Which I don't.
After about two weeks of not touching the game and just having it sit on my desk, it corrupted itself. And the OLD save from December 14th works fine when I restore it. So no, Powersaves didn't corrupt it. It corrupted itself. I don't know how, but it did. This is not unheard of (far from it, in fact).
>>22623534I've heard it's often on digital copies, but that appears to be a problem with the sync file being, well, out of sync. If that's the case, you can launch Pokemon bank to fix it (alternatively, someone has a fix for it on GBAtemp, but I think that requires a fully decrypted save).
Full corruption, though, seems to be more common on physical copies, and indeed, physical copies seem to being hit the hardest with ORAS corruption issues, of which there are a decent amount of reports across the internet by now, not to mention all of those that have not been reported.
>>22623545Retard please. Don't tell me you already forgot about the Lumiose save bug? Granted, they patched that, since it was a major bug, but that doesn't mean that a lot of the other reported corruption issues aren't caused by similar, less widespread bugs.
Also, as I previously mentioned, Powersaves automatically backs up by default, so if your save gets corrupted, your a literal one button press away from restoring it to working order. Anyone that complains about Powersaves corruption these days is just an idiot. The issue was resolved fairly early on in the Powersaves lifetime.
