There are too many topics with too many posters to squeeze into a handful of generals, much less one /vpg/.
We'd pretty overwhelm anyone else, even if you dumped in multiple /mon/ things, because each individual one has so small a presence on 4chan they just wouldn't bother.
For one reason or another, Pokemon just has too much of a population of posters and fans on 4chan. It's a whole board around a single, nearly 10 year old franchise, and yet somehow has a faster turnover rate than all of /m/, a board with a much wider subject matter.
