Yes

Yes, but not for a couple years at least since Chunsoft was busy with that Etrian Odyssey Mystery Dungeon. Gates was poor but one bad game isn't enough to kill a well-beloved series. I mean weren't there some shitty Japan-only Wiiware Mystery Dungeon games? I'm sure Gates was at least better than them and they didn't kill the series.

No, the story was fine but the gameplay was still somewhat sluggish.

So then maybe Pic Related could be another alternative or maybe even Pokemon Rune Factory? Either way a Pokemon farming simulator from X Seed would kick total ass.

I liked gates. Sure it was rather sluggish but gameplay and story remained enjoyable and thats what matteres the most in the end.

Anyway, Blue > Time > Gates. Shame it's been getting worse with each generation. Hopefully they wont fuck up gen 6 PMD too much.

I main the main games recycle the same formula every time and they're pretty much a A button spam, while spin offs offer a great variety of gameplay and they're usually not as easy, for example just look at the Colosseum final battle's team or some of the Stadium sets and comparite to Blue's in RBY team, there's so much more effort put into them
