Haven't played Pokomanz in a long ass time, and I got ahold of a cheapo 3DS.

Should I bother playing X/Y? Or go right into Ruby/Sapphire? I never played the latter (never had an Advance.)

Play ORAS, it's a step up from XY (which isn't saying much considered how they downgraded the quality of things in 6th gen)

If new Pokemon are what you're into then maybe XY wouldn't be bad to play. Just keep in mind that it is pretty much obsolete. Thanks for the compatibility, Game Freak.

Dodge X and Y, go buy ORAS. X and Y felt short and you aren't missing out on that many pokemon.

If you haven't played normal ruby or sapphire you're gonna like it. Even if you weren't interested in playing online post game there's more to do in ORAS once you've beaten the game.
