>>22641888Yeah my baseball autographed by baberuth is exactly the same as the baseball you have that took a machine that can copy baberuths handwriting and autographed it. The baseball I threw with my dad when I was a kid that i've still got with me is the same as a baseball you just bought in the store.
In other words
>Sentimental value doesn't exist guys.It does. I don't know why you think burying your head in the sand and screaming "MY CHEAT MONS ARE THE SAME MY CHEATMONS ARE THE SAME" is going to make it true just because you wrongly believe it is.
In case you're not following this isn't a matter of opinion. I'm telling you that you're wrong to think its natural and ok to just presume there is no sentimental value at all to be appreciated in real pokemon generated from the game without any form of cheat intervention. For somebody like me who actually values the real ones to hear that you actually have the nuts to say your stuff is on par with what I worked for in value is insulting.
If you don't have the means of legitimately getting the pokemon in any way how fair is it that you can just put it on your team when theoretically you shouldn't have one? Not fair at all.
The metagame would be entirely different and much better if all the cheating was shut down. We would have the rarity of obtaining a certain competitive pokemon dictating how common certain threats are and that would change how we team build.
