Granted, I usually tend to think of the teams as a joke. To this date, Platinum version Cyrus is probably the most intimidating and crazy of a team leader i've ever met, not giving up even after being dethroned by a kid. He tried to turn our world into the distortion world, and then sealed himself away in it when his plans failed. Granted, I think that he was a bit of a baby at the end with the whole "If I can't have my plan then I'll just do this." But when you think about the distortion world, you literally watched him commit to his inevitable suicide. Either the dimension was destroyed, and him along with it, or he was forever trapped. Either way, that is about as grim as Pokemon got. Gamefreak was on the right path when they made him. Shame that they can't make at least one game to cater to an older audience, despite the actual game's fanbase.
