But there have been Pokémon games for home consoles already. What, they're expecting GF to suddenly switch from their main fanbase (who will buy whatever they produce no matter how terrible) to the WiiU audience and stop releasing games for handhelds? It's not as if GF will want to spend time on making yet another batch of 3D Pokémon and environment models.

The formula clearly works (since it makes money), so they're not gonna fix it anytime soon.

I wasn't saying I even wanted one, I just think it's dumb to point to a literal copy-paste of a GBA game and then say that's proof an MMO wouldn't work. They're two completely different genres.
If you wanted to you could even force Pokemon to be yet another shitty WoW clone by giving Pokemon equipment slots. It would work, but that doesn't mean I'd like it. If Pokemon ever had an MMO it'd probably work best as a sandbox design, but that requires way more work than we've ever seen GF put into anything.
Of course, there's a lot of staples of MMOs I would love if they ever included them in even the single players ones, but it would never happen because muh game for kids, especially a large game world. I hate how they have still stuck with the "towns with lines between them" design- even SNES had lots of RPGs that didn't do that, and those were for kids too.

Even if that were true, the Stadium games are very old.

I see no reason why they can't make a new Stadium game that actually does add things the 3DS games don't.

Besides, I want challenging tournaments that arent' randomized cheating like the maison.
and stadium had all kinds of cups that had different rules and stipulations. Not to mention a tougher version of the pokemon league from the games.

The Stadium games could even make it a celebration of the whole series, and feature gym leaderes and important characters from past gens.

They could make an HD version of pokemon amie where the minigames were more like those found in the Kid's Corner.

The 3DS may be 3D but it's not HD.

The fact that neither the pokemon league or the gym battles have spectatos ( outside a few gen 5 gym leaders ) has been bothering me a lot lately.

I want tournaments with cheering crowds.

It really sucks that the jump to 3D was nothing but a graphical one. It looks nice sure (for the most part anyway), but they're not really taking advantage of the gameplay potential of making the games 3D at all. I really hope this is just growing pains, but given the snail's pace the franchise seems to evolve at I doubt that's what it is.

Is that so hard to understand?
Even if it's the same fucking models but with a slightly better, WiiU resolution. I just want that. It won't fucking stop me from buying any other remakes or new 3DS games they made. Never. And for about 90% of the fanbase, it won't stop them either.

I just can't believe they haven't released a Stadium/Colosseum yet. It's literally the best way to make the WiiU sales soar. Really.

I want a main-series compatible game a la Coliseum and XD made by a developer that isn't game freak. I think a lot of the enduring popularity of those games comes from a fresh look at the series, while still employing the mechanics that made it popular in the first place. Bring back Genius Sonority and I'm in.

While I liked some aspects like the shadow pokemon purification, the Colosseum games were far too short and felt empty they felt half finished in the same way Wind Waker did.

U wot m8, they're way more alive than any of the main series games. The world constantly changes, the dialogue of NPCs entirely irrelevant to the story changes depending on recent plot events, they comment on and commend you for your deeds, or note Cipher's recent exploits.

The length is just fine too. Snagging Shadow Pokémon is time-consuming, and each battle with a trainer takes quite long (rather than being a matter of sweeping like in the main games), so if the game went on for too long it'd eventually get tedious.
