Honestly, in the next generation, I don't want bikes to be a thing.
I would want a new HM that allows you to ride pokemon like in EP033.

What they SHOULD do is go completely the other way and make all HMs into key items, that way you don't have to be lumbered with HM slaves every fucking generation.

HM's are such a pain and frankly the fact that they're still in the game in this exact form is kind of draconic. I like the idea of surfing on your pokemon, riding your pokemon, but having it take a move slot for no technical reason is silly. I think we should still have "HM's" but they just be things we can do with our pokes, not moves. Just be a seperate menu when you select them or something.

That was probably the weirdest enty in the race when I saw it as a kid. How do you ride on a ball?

Overworld abilities are taught to pokemon super-training style (as in, bottom screen) or at a training center where new moves are unlocked with certain badges (like there's a training house in each city and the bitch at the counter says "oh I'm sorry, you're not an experienced enough trainer to Do the training come back with a badge lol faget"

Training is like minigames like pokeathelon style; easy enough for the kiddies to teach the move but to get 3 stars and extra shit you have to git gud.

Fucking animations for Fly and others is easy, just use the attack animation from battle.

Don't know if you haven't already noticed but the battle and overworld models for Pokemon and NPCs are totally different, the proportions would look out of place in the OW.
