This is one for Kecleon, and it would be ridiculously frustrating.

This pokemon becomes the type of the opponent's move BEFORE it hits.

It's like a priority Colour Change.
- Toxic/Poisonpowder is ineffective
- Thunder Wave is ineffective
- Will-O-Wisp is ineffective
- Sleep Powder and Spore are ineffective

You basically need a Dragon or Ghost-type pokemon to kill it off.

Color Change is less effective, because you are certain of Kecleon's type before you attack.

My ability gives Kecleon lots of useful status resistances, and makes it hard to hit a super-effective hit.

Hey actually. As a defensive option this might actually be worth a shot in OU.

It's "typing" now leaves it with two weaknesses in dragon and ghost, ghost isn't hugely common these days, dragon isn't as commonly used while attacking either. It resists: fire, ice, electric, grass, dark, steel, water, poison and psychic. 9 resists is nothing to scoff at, especially when half of those are very relevant types. dark, ice, fire, electric and water are very present. Grass and steel are also fairly common.
Rest is neutral.

What's great here though is most special attackers fall into the types it resists. So it'd be a fairly effective pink blob substitute. Check this.

It then has twave, stealth rock and recover. Its also immune to most status. Powders? fuck em. Wisp? fuck that too.

Nothing chansey can't do better mind you.

-Shadow sneak
-Forgot this one

The trick was to confuse them and then copy the attack stats, proceed to sweep with priority moves. But I'm a shitter at comp so maybe someone can help me improve it a bit?

Protean Ass Vest with 252 Atk / 252 HP is fun. Not the best, but fun. It can switch into most Special Attackers dandily and go from there.

Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, and Drain Punch are the core of the set with the fourth slot being reserved for Rock Slide, Aqua Tail, Return, Elemental Punches, really any other type you want to cover.

Also I just realized that OP's proposed ability would make Synchronoise effective literally every time the foe uses a STAB move. That move's always been so weird to me, it's largely learned by mostly Psychic pokemon and is a Psychic move, but Psychic resists Psychic so it's not going to be very effective when used by most of the things that can learn it, with the exception of Siglyiph and Woobat who can hit Flying types and Gardevoir who can nuke Fairies.
