Ok so, this is a short-ish story of something that happened to me when I was a kid. I’ve told it once or twice around here, but I’m drunk and bored, and felt like telling a story, so I figured you guys might be interested. Its pretyped, so no waiting.
>be me
>not much to know about me as a kid, other than I really liked to play with the local animals
>bugs and birds and shit
>pretty unspectacular
>grow up in a little seaside community
>not much to do in town, or really even in the surrounding area
>there was this one cave nearby we’d always dare each other to go into
>we always pussied out because of the fucking scary rumbling coming from the blackness, though we’d see strangers exiting occasionally
>braver than us
>just outside of that there was this huge field where lots of malcontents would hang out
>we always just stayed the hell away
>so anyway, seaside town, as I was saying
>sailors and people like that were always around
>cruise ships used to sometimes dock there
>pretty cool to watch them come in, basically the only entertainment kids had around there
>rich people were always coming by due to this exclusive….i don’t know what you’d call it…an association of some kind I guess?
>anyway you got to hear all kinds of stories from these folks
>the “tougher” ones would always just talk about all the fights they’d been in
>whatever, gtfo
>so one day I’m hanging out with a couple of the youngsters from town, just doing normal kid shit
>one of them tells me this story about this weird animal he heard about that was just outside of town at the beach
>says he heard it from one of the rich tourists
>we all figure its just an urban legend and tell him to stfu
