What are the sets to use? Could it possibly get as high as ou or uu? It could be a pretty nutso wallbreaker at least.

I was thinking of doing either adamant with choice scarf or jolly with choice band and use it with flare blitz, head smash, wild charge and hammer arm. Or maybe Sucker Punch would be good somewhere?

Go with Jolly. If you go Adamant it won't get over anything with 108+ base speed. As for moves, I've got Flare Blitz, Superpower, Wild Charge and Rock Slide on my choiced one. Sucker Punch wouldn't be bad as a move either, but I'd run that on a non Choice set.

It's actually fucked, it used to be that black and white wouldn't let you move illegal pokemon around, even if it was just the ball. How is 6th gen legality checking weaker?

Would you recommend a life orb set? It seems to me like emboar is way too slow to be put to use without a scarf. Outside of scarf you may as well go strait up adamant choice band and go for dedicated wall breaking as the only stuff you'll ever outspeed is defensive and utility stuff, anyway, and you'll need the extra power.

I have a Serperior that I got through the gift, and it's highest stats are Defense and Speed. It's got a Lax nature.
Is this good? I've got no idea.
Also, can Contrary be carried on with breeding?
Sorry for the questions, just trying to learn a little more about stats and what should be prioritized.

The only legal ball Emboar can be in is a Pokeball and Cherish ball. I doubt that you'll get good IVs from Cherish Ball.

I just finished breeding that Cherish Ball Emboar with my Ditto and got my desired IVs.

Currently, my moves are
Flare Blitz
Hammer Arm
Rock Slide (thinking of taking changing it)
Wild Charge

EVs
252HP 252Atk 4def

Planning to use in Trick Room team or something.

What would be better for Samurott? Serene Grace, maybe, for those sweet, sweet Razor Shell Defense hits? I can't think of any others that are suitable for it in the same way Contrary and Reckless suit the other two.
