So you drop him in box 2, export it, and then open on the computer and edit to your heart's content.
I accidentally hatched a shiny Skarmory. It has 4 IVs maxed. I didn't want to use a normal one after hatching it but it's strictly worse than if I kept going. Now I can fix it.
