back in gen 3, i was the only kid in school who had both Colosseum and Gale of Darkness so i crammed the fuck out of them to get ho-oh and lugia.
in gen 4 i was so close to getting complete dex that the last one i was missing was celebi. i got desperate and asked my friend to hack me one but soon after i felt the regret rushing back. i ended up deciding that i wouldn't trade over my shaymin to make it an official 493, rather keep it at 492 and live with the pain knowing my time is yet to come.
and now, my collections over the years have come to life as i can FINALLY say have completed the pokedex 100% legit. still waiting on hoopa and volcanion tho.
