>>22669338>In-game commercialized footage somehow makes it worse?Yes. Because I can see my Sharpedo using Scald all the fuckning time in the game.
>And custom footage you can't see in the game somehow makes it better?Absolutely yes because that means you can see something like Duskull using some sort of will-o-wisp tackle charging into a 4-way tackle explosion
>So you're one of those people mad that the games brought in a new mechanic.Way to put words into my mouth. I love mega evolutions. I hate the overexposure to the starter's megas, especially since they're the most common ones you'd see in the games, the only ones you had access to in the demo, they were featured in every single trailer, it's oversaturation. It's boring. They could've at least shown us some footage of the new megas besides sharpedo and camerupt, like a scene with Mega Mawile and Mega Sableye or something. But nah, flash to the starter megas we've seen 50000 times before that intro.
.
>What the fuck are you even talking about? It's literally just Latios/Latias dashing like they would if you press B using the Eon Flute. It's them doing the same circle loop you can do in the game. None of that is as interesting as a custom sprite you couldn't ever see anywhere in the game. Why watch the opening if you can see everything that goes on in it by just spending a few minutes in the game?
>Get off those nostalgia goggles you old faggot. You realize I'm not insulting your mother or anything, right? I'm saying there are things you can criticize here when it literally looks like so many of the trailers they put out for the game before you picked it up. We watched these scenes so often before, rewatching reused footage makes it lose its luster. It's valid criticism no matter what you prefer about anything. Stop sucking Gamefreak's dick and being blind to criticism. You can enjoy something and still say there are things wrong with it. I loved ORAS, I didn't like the opening, deal with it.
