I fucking love Froslass, but it seems it can only do a few useful thing such as spikes, paralyze, and such.

What could Gamefreak do to make her more viable?

>Hard mode: no mega evolution
>Very hard mode: no removing ice typing

About the only way she'd be better is with one of the better entry hazards.

A mega'd be cool though, just for the new look.

Poison spikes would be amazing.
Also, why Pain Split with a Focus Sash?
She isn't much of a tank and the Sash only works with max HP.

It's a trial run thing. Trying new stuff. Surprisingly enough, half the time, people don't lead with strong enough attackers to trigger the sash.

Give it Fire Blast so it isn't completely cuked by Ferro and Scizor. A better ability would be a big help, something like Magic Guard or even Levitate.

Its not nearly minmaxed enough in the BST department, base 80 SpA isn't sweeping teams even with 110 speed.

The fact that it can set Spikes and completely avoid Rapid Spin is certainly a plus. And it's speed *slightly* makes up for its sub-par defenses. I'm just curious what could be added to her to help it competitively.

Rapid Spin isn't even used anymore except for Excadrill and Excadrill is something it can't switch it on for the fear of that meaty Iron Head or even a neutral EQ.

Makes sense on another ghost type, but how would lowering the opponents Sp Atk help at all? Plus it only has 65 BP which is pretty low.

Frosslass doesn't need Fire coverage, it needs a boosting move like Nasty Plot to make that pitiful 80 base SpA hit harder to have more offensive pressure. Having the option to use Focus Blast to hit steels and dark types like T-Tar, Heatran, and Ferrothorn would make Frosslass much better.

And since Glalie is Frosslass' counterpart, it could get Swords Dance and SuperPower to sort of match the buffs Frosslass gets
