Sticky web is a cool and annoying entry hazard. Lowers the opposing pokemons speed by 0.67 upon coming in. Flying/Levitators are immune like spikes and tspikes.

Its a really cool hazard that allows some otherwise slow but powereful mons to sweep. Pokemon like mega heracross are a prime example. Being extremely powerful and able to shred almost the entire OU meta but suffer from slow speed thus not giving them enough opportunities for kills. Sticky web remedies this with a nice method of speed control.

However sricky web is limited to a few shitty mons like Ariados, Galvantula, Shuckle and ofc Smeargle.
