Yellow was just a casual version of RB. The 3 starters were better than most mons you could catch for most of the game back in genwun. I can only really think of Starmie and Snorlax and Tauros which you get late game, but those required more work except for Snorlax. Imagine a remake with the game giving you all the mega stones as well.

GF would never make a main game on the virtual console thing, with the save state available, and the inability to trade with others, which is a main part of the game. If they did something, it would be a complete remake.

this was my first video game ever, however pikachu was frustrating as hell and I liked raichu a lot. I got help from a friend to evolve it in his because my game didn't let me. But poof, no following raichu and he wasn't special nor very strong and it made me. End up having charizard lead my team. I didn't know until later that you could choose only one starter in the other games.

At least in HGSS I had a shiny raichu that I had follow me around a lot just in spite of the memory. If they fix it in this one maybe I would get it.

Pokemon Yellow 3D removes all the mechanics that were introduced in Gen 2 to 6. All the fuck ups in Gen 1 are back including Missingno.

Why, can you really get a Pikachu to follow you around in FRLG? Last time I checked you cloudn't.

If they are getting you to pay two to three times for the same game, you're getting jipped.
They are quite successful. Maximize profits, minimize expenditures.

On average, how much new content do those remakes have anyway? I've heard 1-3 hours so I never bother purchasing them

Pikachu. Raichu's design has always bugged me. Everything from the choice of color, change in mouth shape, ears, weird nub hands, kangaroo feet, and whip tail. It seems way less appealing than pikachu.

As to OP, if it were actually just a 3D Classic game the way things like Kid Icarus and shit have been made (though I imagine that style wouldn't work with Pokémon) I'd be fine with it since they wouldn't be wasting too much dev time on it. I wouldn't get it, but it doesn't hurt me or take too many resources away from other games in the series.

Actually the opposite is true. At this point if you see Pikachu v. Raichu in something, Raichu is the underdog because you know Pikachu's mascot status gives it the advantage. Why would you ever bet against Pikachu outside of something like Ash in the League where he's contractually obligated to lose?

Unless the fight is like at the start of the episode and isn't plot-crucial, then Pikachu will lose the first match but will trounce Raichu in the rematch.

Is it too much to ask for Cosplay Raichu? You could make Cosplay Pikachus breedable in the process, make teeny little Cosplay Pichus as well.

Well Coschu has a special black tail, so it's possible. Actually can you breed Coschu at all? I'd figure even if you could the offspring would just be a normal Pichu that won't evolve into Coschu, but I've never checked.
