Torterra- Make his ability Solid Rock, and boost his defenses. He already has Synthesis, so he could make a great wall. Thick Fat works too, but then he's too much like Venusaur, and turtles don't really look particularly fatty to me.
Infernape- This is the easy one. He already has an amazing movepool, and his stats are already fine. Give him boosts in attack, special attack, and speed, so he can still go mixed. Potential abilities to break him that still make sense with his theme are Mold Breaker (For taunting around Magic Bounce and quaking Levitators), Defiant, Limber (don't laugh, he's already immune to burn, he's too deadly to poison and wall, with this, he would only be susceptible to Sleep), No Guard (He learns Fire Blast, Stone Egde, and Gunk Shot. Does he get Inferno? I don't remember), Adaptability (would make him too much like Luke, though) and Sheer Force. Probably an assload more, actually.
Empoleon- This guy's kinda problematic snce he's got a great defensive typing,but doesn't learn Roost, even though he's a fucking bird. He's not a lost cause, though. You could take the lazy way out by making him designed for double and give him Competetive, considering the abundance of Intimidators used is double. You could set up for some big ass Surfs that way. You could also give him Storm Drain so he can eat your opponent's surfs and power up that way too. You could also give him Early Bird so his Rests don't last as long and he resembles a decent wall, but I feel like that wouldn't really be enough.
