why did they change Sabrina's design? I'm not complaining, i mean it looks good, but I just prefer the original.

I always figured it had something to do with the politics of the Kanto Pokemon League changing after Giovanni/Team Rocket got defeated. Like, now that a big criminal org wasn't basically the vice president everybody sort of relaxed their buttholes and let their hair down a little.

But that might be Pokemon Adventures/anime Sabrina's character development leaking in and poisoning my mind.

I like to think it's because every iteration of the series (except electric tales) portrays her as some horrifying psychic bitch because of her speech and the fact she upped and crushed the fighting gym.

so it's a way of the game saying "nah she's not like that she's just a serious psychic gym leader"

My favorite design is Pokespecs one (she and blaine are the only ones that make sense being from team rocket, rocket taking over the city and she didn't do anything with her all psychic team).

Kanto's probably going to be next gen if not soon.

I'm not one for complaining about how the games have been, but they've been pandering so hard to the originals lately that it's impossible not to think that they're gearing up for another remake of it.

That's dumb in a design sense.

If they're focusing so hard on things that will never be put in the main game why are they doing it? They even found a way for applicable megas to be used.

It would be just throwing money out the window if this all wasn't in preparation of something.
