Hi. I only played pokemon games on handhelds and I want to play them online. The thing is I don't know anything about playing them on my computer. I don't know anything about roms and I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to these things.

I really want to play that pokemon emerald ramdomizer thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Uh, you need an emulator(this acts as the console) and a rom(this is the game) and specifically for pokemon randomizeds, you need a pokemon randomizer.
If you're going with emerald, you'll want probably nocashgba, and coolrom.com had any pokemon game you need. For the randomizer? FuckifIknow. Google and YouTube searches, my friend.

You will need an emulator

Next you want to find the rom itself. Just type "xxx rom download" in google and checl the results until you find a download link.

When you have those 2 things, put the rom in the same folder as your emulator (or wherever, just don't forget where you put it). Start the emulator, load the rom and play the game on your PC.

You can also patch roms so that you can play hacks or to randomize the game. Here's the randomizer http://pokehacks.dabomstew.com/randomizer/
